This would be far more useful if the writer had stuck to one basic type (e.g., steel six string) and compared five lower priced models in that category. Instead, he chose one nylon string classical, one 12 string, one travel guitar, and wrote about them with no context, and no real usable information for someone looking to buy a first guitar.

There are so many more guitars out there, and many that are not too expensive. The problem with getting a “cheap” guitar is that they are not made very well and are hard to play and keep in tune.
